Overview
Setting up your digital storefront is the first step to ditching the chaos of DM orders. This guide will help you claim your unique link, design your brand, and launch your shop so customers can start ordering immediately.
Prerequisites
A valid email address to verify your account.
Your business logo (optional but recommended).
At least one product photo ready to upload.
Start by confirm your email
To keep your shop secure, we need to verify it's really you.
After Signing up on bake.shop, check your inbox for an email with the subject line "Welcome to Bakeshop!"
Click the pink Confirm Email Address button. This will automatically open the setup wizard.
Step 1: Claim your shop link
This is the specific web address (URL) your customers will visit to order your goodies.
Storefront URL: Enter a unique name for your shop link (e.g.,
sarascakes.bake.shop).Shop Display Name: Enter the official name of your bakery.
Click Continue.
Pro Tip: Keep your URL short and simple so it’s easy for customers to remember and type!
Step 2: Design your brand
Now let's make the shop look like you.
Logo & Cover Photo: Upload your business logo and a mouth-watering banner image of your treats.
Bio: Write a short welcome message (e.g., "Welcome to Bakeshop! The storefront your baking deserves.").
Colors: Pick a Button Color and Background Color that matches your brand.
Click Continue.
Step 3: Preview Storefront
Review your design preview. If you love it, click Continue.
Step 4: Build your menu
You need at least one item to launch.
Click + Add Product.
Fill in the details:
Product Name: (e.g., "Cookie")
Price: Set your cost per item.
Category: (e.g., "Sweet Treats")
Description: List flavors or ingredients.
Photo: Upload a close-up image.
Click Update Product to save.
Step 5: Activate your plan
To launch your shop, you’ll need to start your subscription.
Select your billing preference (Monthly or Yearly).
Click Start trial.
Enter your payment details (Card or Cash App) and click Start trial.
Note: You will not be charged today. You have a 14-day free trial to test everything out before your subscription begins.
Step 6: Launch!
Review your details one last time.
Click the black Launch My Shop 🚀 button.
You’re open for business! Click View Shop to see your live website or Open Dashboard to start managing orders.
